The guestbook entry from Erhard and Susanne must have been an omen.
Opening the newspaper on Saturday a litter of puppies was advertised. A few calls and 4 hours later we were sitting in the car to have a first look. Another visit on Sunday to take the picture and in 4 weeks we will have a new helper for the renovation of the house. Or will it be dismantling?

Johnson is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and 5 weeks old. Easy to carry at present, he will grow quite a bit in the next months. To give you an idea what kind of dog Johnson is or will be (not for you Tracy, as you know them from Africa) you find some links in the new chapter.

Now it's time to hurry up in the garden and the house. The last holes in the fence have to be closed and the house has to be made "puppy proofed".
